PRODUCT APPLICATION                   

TOWER TREAT-M is a single blend - multipurpose cooling tower treatment. It contains organic polymers for scale control; dispersants, antifoulants and sequesterants for deposit control; molybdates and aromatic azoles for steel, copper and copper alloy corrosion protection.

TOWER TREAT-M is effective in reducing scale and deposits in cooling water systems with moderate to high hardness makeup water, even  in those systems where bleedoff is restricted in an effort to reduce water and chemical consumption. In these systems the molybdate, sequesterants and antifoulants help reduce the under deposit corrosion which would otherwise commonly occur.

TOWER TREAT-M is also effective in systems with low hardness and low alkalinity makeup water. The combination of molybdate, organic and azole based corrosion inhibitors, provides effective corrosion control in very aggressive environments such as systems with low flow, periodic stagnant conditions, elevated temperatures,  pH excursions, prolonged retention times, or microbiological contamination, that wouls be diffcult for other less sophisticated inhibitor systems to protect.

TOWER TREAT-M is non-staining, non-nutritive and not abrasive to sump seals.

PRODUCT DOSAGE

TOWER TREAT-M may be controlled by a precise, east to run molybdate test. The recommend control levels for recirculating water systems with a Stability Index between 4.5 - 7.5 is 5 to 10 ppm (as MoO4). More aggresive waters with Stability Indexes outside this range may be treated with molybdate controlled between 10 - 20 ppm (as MoO4).

PRODUCT SAFETY

As with any industrial chemical, TOWER TREAT-M should be handled with appropriate care. All plant personnel who may have contact with TOWER TREAT-M should review the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) to familiarize themselves with the application, handling, storage and disposal procedures before using.
