CLOSED SYSTEM TREATMENT

 

PRODUCT APPLICATION

 

CST-100 is a corrosion and deposit inhibitor treatment designed for use in all types of closed water systems including Chilled Water and Hot Water Recirculating Systems, Hot Water Boilers, Low pressure steam boilers and Process Loops.  The Formulation is balanced to provide corrosion protection for iron, copper and copper alloys; and scale and deposit control in systems with high hardness, iron, iron oxide or other suspended solids.

 

CST-100 is a nitrite based treatment containing pH buffers to minimize corrosion to iron and steel, aromatic azoles for copper and copper alloys, and organic antiscalents and dispersants to control deposits.

 

CST-100 is compatible with ethylene and propylene glycol antifreezes.

 

PRODUCT DOSAGE

 

CST-100 is monitored and controlled by an easy to use drop test kit. CST-100 is fed at a rate of 1 gallon to 100 gallons of water to provide a nitrite residual of 1000 to 2000 ppm.

 

PRODUCT SAFETY

 

As with any industrial chemical, CST-100 should be handled with appropriate care. All plant personnel who may have contact with CST-100 should review the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) to familiarize themselves with the application, handling, storage and disposal procedures before using.

CST-100 is available in 15, 30 and 55 gallon drums and in bulk.
